20ft Wide Report Issued!

November 20, 2013

Lynn Osgood and Heather Way authored a new report documenting the widely acclaimed 20ft Wide installation!

Working with artists, designers, and policy makers, including artist Dan Cheetam of Fyoog and Art Alliance Austin, the team orchestrated a four-day, public event that served as both a case study for how the City of Austin could transform a downtown alley into a vibrant public open space, and as a means of testing which policies needed to be in place to help support future efforts.

The installation was well-received and widely attended, while being exemplary of Austin’s efforts to innovate and activate public spaces!
